Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China: comprehensive prohibition of textile imports from North Korea

According to the website of the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Commerce issued the announcement of the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs on the implementation of Resolution 2375 of the UN Security Council. Since the announcement date, the import of textiles from North Korea has been banned; the export of condensate and liquefied natural gas to North Korea has been banned; from October 1, 2017, the export of refined petroleum products to North Korea has been restricted. This announcement will be implemented from September 23, 2017. Previously reported: On August 25, 2017, the Ministry of Commerce issued a notice stating that North Korean entities or individuals are prohibited from setting up new Sino-foreign joint ventures, Sino-foreign cooperative ventures, and foreign-invested enterprises in China, and that established enterprises are prohibited from increasing capital and expanding their scale. On August 14, 2017, the Ministry of Commerce announced that as of August 15, 2017, the import of coal, iron, iron ore, lead, lead ore, aquatic products from North Korea will be completely banned. The above-mentioned goods that have arrived at our port before the date of the announcement can be released. From 0:00 on September 5th, import procedures will no longer be processed (including goods that have been accepted by the customs but have not yet been cleared). After that, the above-mentioned products entering the country will be treated as prohibited imports.
